The ProACTion Team

For society to be strong, its families must be strong. But families are disintegrating. As a result our society is arguably less strong than at any time in American history. For this reason, Connected Families passionately seeks to build strength in families by partnering with schools, churches and other organizations to equip parents for growing strong, connected relationships in the home. The Restorative Team

When families are losing hope, or have lost hope altogether, Connected Families staff wisely and gracefully encourage them, and skillfully help them take charge of their progress. Staff use a Solution Focused approach with every family and collaborative team. Through coaching, counseling, consulting and training*, we give hope to families and the professionals that serve them.

*Currently, our team is training and consulting in the "Signs of Safety" model. Partnerships include the following jusrisdictions:

In Minnesota: Hennepin, Carver, Scott, Anoka, Stearns, Sherburne, Crow Wing, Otter tail, Polk and our staff facilitate the Minnesota DHS Virtual training sessions. 

In Manitoba: General Authority and Metis Authority.

In Ontario: Hamilton Children's Aid

In North Carolina: Catawba County.
